  • We do not share your private messages with other users or third parties.
  • We do not store payment information — we don't currently process payments.

Cookies

fedora.meme uses cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. Specifically:

  • Session cookies — required for login. These expire when you close your browser unless you select "Remember me," in which case they persist for up to two weeks.
  • CSRF tokens — security cookies that protect you from cross-site request forgery. No personal data.
  • Preference cookies — if applicable, to remember display settings.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Uploaded images and media

When you upload images, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other members can download images you post publicly, which may include embedded metadata. We recommend stripping EXIF data from images before uploading if location privacy is a concern.

YouTube and Instagram embeds on the platform are served from those platforms directly. Their respective privacy policies apply to embedded content.

How long we keep your data

We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile and public content will be removed from the platform within a reasonable timeframe. Some data may be retained for legal, security, or anti-abuse purposes.

Your rights

You can view, edit, or delete your personal information at any time from your profile settings. You have the right to request an export of all data we hold about you, or to request deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us through our contact form.

Password resets

When you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email for security purposes. Reset links expire after a short time and can only be used once.
